Mines built, but have a question
 

So I've been visiting this site for a while now and absolutely love it and all the great info I get. I got the call from my dealer today who told me that my car went to 3800 and he just got the vin number. :happyanim:.

I have one question though I am not in a hurry to get the car and left the hurst shifter on the workbench hoping that GM would get things worked out and put in the hurst shifter in as a factory option. My question is that from everything I've heard the shifter is not ready for production but my car is built. I even checked with my dealer who said the shifter is still on the workbench.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes. The one in my car has been OK today from hurst for manufacture, That is at lest 2 mouths for the after market one to come out.

This is not the one that gm and hurst are doing.

So does that mean my car will have a factory hurst shifter or will it be a dealer option?

Should be a dealer installed item. You will probably have to wait until it is available and then take your car back so they can put it in. One good thing is that it will show on your window sticker!!!. Most people removed it once it was listed as constraint and now it won't show on the sticker.
