How about a video of it Idling. I can't make up my mind if I want Magnaflow or Corsa. What do you think? Is this exhaust with cats or not.

Mojave 05-25-2010 12:37 PM

Sure. I will try to remember to get an idle tonight. I can tell you my general feeling was that I nailed the choice of exhausts with this Magnaflow ! Sounds incredible and does not drone.

I have stock cats - for now ; )

LOL. Yes the birds were going crazy. They must be big Camaro fans. Best way to describe the exhaust is deep and throaty sound. Reminds me of our boats idling in the water at the river.

I expect things to change when I get headers.

Camaro54 05-26-2010 08:13 AM

Your exhaust sounds perfect for now. It may not sound so cool when the day comes you add LT headers but that would void your warantee.

The A6-L99 with headers and exhaust like this WILL have a drone just incase anyone is leaning in that direction.

This car sounds great the way it's set up.

Thanks. I expect it to be less civil with headers ,but I had KOOKs on my G8 GT and miss them so much !

Hey looks great!I have a SIM 1SS myself did you add the 4 pk guages?? makes a big difference on the interior! My mods right now are : ADM CAI, BMR Fabrication strut tower brace, and am currently waiting on my Borla ATAK cat back cant wait. did you have to get your car aligned after putting in the springs?

Mojave 05-26-2010 08:49 AM

That is a beautiful boat ! We had a nice 25 foot party boat and a 22 foot runabout. But we sold those when we moved and have not replaced them so far. Family still has a bunch of boats when we go to the river so that is nice for now.

Mojave 05-26-2010 09:01 AM

Nice mods ! I am going to get the gauges at some point also. The interior needs work. I have a nice interior mod coming this week. I also need to get some more Pfadt stuff for next month, going to do a couple races !
