Problems after Burnt spark plug wire?

Evening!

I have a 2011 Camaro SS. LT headers, Exhaust, CAI, tsp stage 1 cam and a tune. After the cam was installed along with dual springs, hardened pushrods, new spark plugs and wires I noticed that the two front right spark plugs were touching the header tubes, one was burnt to exposed wire. I replaced the two wires and added boots on them to protect them from the headers. A day or so later the car started having power issues in 2nd when accelerating and also in 1st. It just sorta bogs alittle. There was also a problem with the theft coming on the same day the power issue started. The padlock symbol on the cluster didn’t wanna go off and it wouldn’t start. I finally got it started but the power issues remains. It was there before the anti theft issue. Any ideas?

My shop suggested touching the positive and negative battery cables together to reset it. There about three hours away or I would just have them look at it. Thanks!

How old is your battery. These cars are very sensitive to weak batteries and strange problems will pop up.

Thanks! I’ve had the car since September, I haven’t changed the battery, car has 100,000 miles on it.

I'd start with a new battery if it's original. They can cause all sorts or weird stuff
