2013 2SS RS Rear Pics
 

Hi,
New here, I'm looking at buying this 2013 2SS RS Camaro.
Quick question:
On rear deck should there be a SS emblem there or not.
Front has the red ss emblem in right corner of grill.
Does the RS option make this different????

No, they removed the "rear" SS emblem for whatever reason, probably just to clean/smooth out the look. If the front emblem is red, then the car has the RS package on it. Lots of folks "debadge" their cars, I did except for the rear SS emblem. It should be on the passenger side top portion of the deck lid. Looks good otherwise..

I also just realized the car has the GM Dove Tail/Blade spoiler on it, so the SS emblems had to be removed to install it, they just didn't put them back on.

Thanks guys. Yeah, was gonna ask about that spoiler, is that factory or dealer installed??
I'm going tomorrow to look and probably buy. Owner says thats the way it was bought.
Untouched car with only 4750 miles on it.

Yea, the spoiler is a GM accessory part and can be ordered and installed by the dealer if asked to, but it would be an aftermarket install as it would not come from the factory with it. The one it come with is in the pic above. Looks like a well kept car from the pic too. Good luck with the purchase. :thumbup:

the original spoiler was a little different

from the next day after I got her...

There’s a yellow gen 5 SS around here with one of those “old style Z/28” spoilers on it, I need to look at it a little closer?

I agree; the one on the convertible doesn’t look like the same spoiler, the one in OP’s picture requires drilling holes in the tops of the quarters to attach the end pieces, as well as brass balls to drill those holes:lol: ask me how I know… If I remember right it won’t work with the convertible shark fin. The GM dovetail is my all time favorite 5th Gen spoiler. I am completely biased in saying that. As mr. Jewld said it’s a GM part that could have been ordered factory or dealer/owner installed. In my case, I installed it in 2019 on my car.
