Getting cammed!

I pulled the trigger and bought mace cams...my question is can I take it to a shop get them installed and limp it home without a tune? At least until I can get will at will overkill to tune it remotely. I just don't wanna do any damage to my engine....thanks for any input

You can drive it home without a tune, it may just start rough and be sluggish leaving idle.

I'm super curious what will be your impressions. Do you have any other mods?

I advise to dyno the cat before and after on the same dyno.

I'll be doing the some with few extra mods around May.

They aren't much bigger cams than stock it will run fine. Whereas the LS3 etc performance cams makes them sound like a tractor and they run rough without a tune. So dont expect huge gains.
