I know the time of the year has a lot to do with muscle car sales,
but it looks like the 6th Gen Camaro can't get here soon enough. |
Or sooner^
|
Remember, the base model (Turbo 4 cyl.) will not be offered until the first quarter of 2016. Probably won't see a huge increase in Camaro sales until mid-2016 (?). I guess it would depend on the take rate for the 6 and 8 cylinder models.

I thought the Camaro would have done better with all the incentives right now.

When the 2016 is soooo damn good it's hard to plunk down on a 2015. Especially at this time of year. What kind of incentives are they running on the 2015's? I remember when the Mustang refreshed they were putting like $8k on the table to clearance them out.

I hate to say it, but the Mustang is a better looking and more affordable option.
I am a proud owner of 2002 SS Camaro, but may be looking in to buying a new GT. ... |

Well not everyone was head over heels for the 5th Gen, looks are a matter of personal choice and perspective.
I find the 3rd and 4th Gens hideous, others love them. To each their own |
I like Ford's numbers!
|
I like anyone who likes V8 American musclecars.
I've never been a fan of the idea behind musclecars with v6's in them, but I know it's the only way to have a good share of the market. But now, 4 cylinder engines... At least the turbo 4 in the mustang is an upgrade in power and performance over the v6... |
