Camaro & Coffees

Just throwing this out there for anyone interested; I passed a "Buddies US Diner" on the A43 near Towcester the other day - postcode NN12 6TQ (Southbound side) This must be 'reasonably' central for quite a few of us (i.e, within an hours' drive) - I know the weather is shite, the roads are salty but spring not tooooo far away. Anyone up for coffeee, tyre-kicking and bacon butties one Sunday morn? - They open at 09:00 (yeah, I know - early) but a few hours chat and some photo's etc. Maybe late Feb/early March?.......

PS; Car parking not bad by the look of it either.

Splendid shout Ed, count me in on this

Pretty sure Jim and Mike would be interested too.

Interested depending on the date. Over to you Ed.

Sounds great to me

Only 1 hour away

OK - looks like we could raise at least half a squadron; I'm going to suggest we all pencil in Feb 18th & 25th as contingency in case the good old UK weather does its usual. Updates will follow....

Unfortunately not my friend; Wakefield is up in the northern badlands of England . The meet is probably 2-3 hours drive and about 130 miles south. You would however be made most welcome (especially if your luggage is rammed full of AC Delco oil filters, brake pads, and drive belts!...)

18th morning good for me.

Yellow 1 01-26-2018 10:43 AM

Okay Rick, 18th on my calendar. Weather permitting...

Make the drive! ED (Yellow1) is an awesome bloke. One of my best friends. We met here on Camaro5. We've spent time together in New England and on his turf in the UK. These guys are not to be missed. I'd go in a heartbeat.
