OMG...this is one of the worst days EVER!!! Here I am driving my 2010 Camaro that I love so much. I was at a dead stop in a construction zone waiting for the flagger to tell us to go and this guy driving a freaking Nissan Quest mini van rear ends the crap out of my car. I could not believe someone hit me....he had to be doing about 45, and if he did any breaking maybe 35. I was a complete stop. The camaro's damage is nothing compared the guys car, which i tried to get a pic of but really couldn't at night. I got so much information, but I am SO sad. I am so pissed right now Words can't describe it...luckily he had insurance and didn't debate it plus it being in a construction zone I had a witness (the flagger) which I hope he comes through. :mad0260:

I am hoping the insurance company does not total it...and I doubt parts will be available any time soon :cry:

Whaaa for the Camaro :cry::cry:

That sucks man. Could be worse.

Two Word... well 3..
Diminished Value Lawsuit

They owe you more than the repair because it damaged your new car experiance and the cars used value.

I hate Nissan Quests. I call them the saggy butt vans. Its like Nissan intended to make the minivan even uglier.

The first pic doesn't look so bad, but the exhaust is the real problem there. It might be better if it is declared Totaled. Cars are never the same after a repair like that. Still, I've said it before and I'll say it again - these cars are holding up pretty well in crashes. If that 35 mph speed is true, then this car is golden on crash-worthiness.

That sucks man! I thought it was someone reposting the TOTALLY messed up black SS...why are hot cars stupid people magnets?

D*MN! What's GOING ON this week?!?! All these babies gettin hurt and raped! GEEEZ!

speedster 06-04-2009 01:39 PM

Wow, that sucks. But I'll tell you, if that is all the damage there is and the guy hit you at 20+ mph, the Camaro is one tough car.

If it drives fine, don't let the insurance company total it. You may not get a Camaro back this year.

Ouch, sorry to see this dude. Now I know what my car would look like if it was rear ended. Good taste in your car by the way.
