Upgrading breask on my 2LT

Is it worth upgrading the front breaks on my 2LT? I'm thinking since they wear faster that it would be ideal to just focus on the fronts? Someone suggested that it might cause a problem but not sure what problem it would be. I'm a little upset that Chevy went with just a 1 piston system with the v6 and was hoping they would have offered a 2 piston with the RS model or something. Also, instead of buying a full break kit for about 2K can I make it cheaper by buying the parts individually?

Thanks for the info .......if you have any LOL:thumbsup:

You can upgrade just the fronts, but I would suggest doing front and rear for optimal performance. Your cheapest solution will be to pick up a set of SS Brembo calipers from someone upgrading/downgrading. (Many track guys swap out the fronts and sell them and many drag racers would love to swap for your rears to fit smaller wheels and slicks.)
