Another interesting data point would be.. how many '17 and
'18 are sitting on dealer lots.

A local dealer said there would be no discounts on zl1, and laughed at me. Hey, funny guy, we'll see who laughs last! :)

I was fortunate to not pay $20,000 dealer markup on the A10 out here. M6's were getting $10K over. Folks were paying it too. Crazy.

They are still doing it on the '18. At least they have cut it down to $10K on the A10. Still, feasting.

I found a picture of the krypton green production numbers on facebook, im sure they have the zl1 numbers sitting around :headbang: I still have the pic, if someone can confirm its ok to post it Ill gladly share but I heard it wasn't even supposed to be posted on facebook..

20K over MSRP! Who would do that? Picked mine up for $4300 under MSRP.

What's funny is dealers actin like the 17 ZL1 is a limited production vehicle....no limit on this gen that I'm aware of, since they said they'd build as many as we order. Custom order yours at a good dealer and tell them you won't pay a markup on a car that's being delivered FOR you, they tried it from the factory on mine and the dealer took it off. Also gave me $1,500 rebate AND they forgot to apply my deposit to the sale soooo I got that back too :D so $2,500 off.

Truthfully, I think the Fifty Camaro ZL1 turned out to be a limited production car. if you're into blanketing your ZL1 Anni model for 30 years, you may have something.

That is contrary to my experience, and others I know, when trying to buy one. No dealer in my state could get allocation for a ZL1, nor could the largest Chevy dealer in Philly. I think there may have been an end-of-production-year burst on them but they were by no means unlimited.
