Turbo is not "FREE" horsepower. It is taking power to turn becuase its a restriction in the exaust. Like adding 6 more mufflers.

Yes its takes away MUCH LESS power than a blower but its not 100% free.

In drag racing at the 3000 HP level a roots blower takes around 600 HP to turn.

A centrifugal blower takes around 300 HP to turn.

I would venture to say that a turbo takes about 150 HP to turn.

Just some food for thought. NOTHING is FREE:sm0:

By the way. If I wasn't bent on having that Procharger sound in my car I would be getting turboed2000 to build me a kit:headbang:

Nice work. I can't wait to see a price... if you decide to market it. I might be interested. So many decisions...Turbo or SC. This one looks promising. Keep it up.

Just went to the dyno to do some pulls. Put down 724/770. I got the video and forgot the Graph. Dyno jet will email it to me tomorrow. This is through the stock exhaust no catt's. Quiet as can be.

Awesome job. Did you ever get that dyno sheet to post up? I'm interested to see how your setup with a larger cid and less boost compares to mine with smaller cid and more boost.
