Will the price of 5th gens drop in price upon the 6th gen hitting dealerships
If so , by how much? Will the 10s hit 15K? Will be see a 14 car for 20-25K?

Noone knows, it's pure speculation. And there isn't a "set" set of prices, they can vary based on location, condition of the car, mileage and purely owner greed or lackthereof.

I think GM will offer their "X% off of the 15% oldest stock" again. Any other drops in price would probably be dealer specific.

Well I sold my 14 1LE to a dealer yesterday for 32500 so they have not taken a hit yet.

You would think that, but when the mustang came out, the mustangs on the lot where the same price. I remember when the 2011 5.0 mustang came out and on the dealer lots were 2010's. 2011 5.0 415 hp, 2010 barely 300 hp , car looked the same and cost the same. But the unknowing got boned big time.
I think you will see the opposite happen on 1LE's, Z28's, ZL1 leftovers will actually not be discounted do to the 6th gen doesn't have one in there line up. Though right now there is a $2000 discount on camaro's and Z28's $5000. Cadillac ELR the Volt in caddy badging $20,000 off discount. Why couldn't the ZL1 or Z28 have that discount or Stingray yowza $32,000 for a new stingray would be awesome sauce |
Of course it will, but don't look for much drop in the 2016 model year. 2017 = nose dive in Gen5 prices.

Unless you have low low miles.. A low mile Gen 5 2013 or up will hold decent.
