What time will you guys be rolling down river street if you still are?

Hightower and I will come out and check you guys out..our booth is setup right across from wet willies.

mmarx82 07-06-2013 10:50 PM

We usually meet, have lunch then roll down River Street so there is no set time for that. If you PM me your number I'll text you to let ya know when/if we head that way if you want.

USMCSSGT-RET 07-07-2013 07:40 AM

Beaufort guys, I haven't heard from Mike (habunow1), but I'll be at the Kangaroo right before the bridge at about 9:50, ready to roll out at 10.

Just want to say thanks to CamaroKid and Hightower for the free gifts they gave us as we drove down River Street today.

Here is a pic that Michael took earlier today.

Its no problem! Sorry we didn't have more!

Wish I could have come up there and said hey real quick, but boss man was next to me and I couldn't leave!

Yeah those frisbees are just the coolest things in the world huh? :D

Like JT said, had to make the boss man look like I was doing something productive. Hence the free frisbees lol

On another note, I need to get together with y'all. I'm at school in Statesboro and the drive to Savannah is shorter than my drive to Atlanta when I'm back in Madison. So in other words, I would love to make the drive to Savnnah to meet y'all and hang out.

I can't speak for the others but I've been meaning to get one to play with my dogs anyways so I was pretty psyched about it. You should definitely come out.

I found out that SCCA event 6 at Roebling Road Raceway is going to be an Autocross event. It is going to be $50 for preregistration and $55 on site and is open to anybody. Registration link below:
http://www.buccaneerregion.com/soloevents.html

On Sept 27 they are having a full track event which is part of a driving school event. That will be between $250-325. Full track events I found out are not available to convertibles however unless they have rollover protection. Here is the policy on that: http://www.hookedondriving.com/downl...nvertibles.pdf

I'm likely to go to event 6, definately will if everyone wanted to go instead of doing our usual Sunday meet. What do you guys think?

Glad you'll get some use out of it! Haha

Actually I might be interested in the autocross. I've never been on one before and I think I would enjoy it. When exactly is this? Maybe I'm overlooking it but I don't see an Event 6 under the 2013 section.

Jer4251 07-09-2013 10:03 PM

but I can still autocross right? I want to run a road course but don't want to chop up my interior with a roll cage

mmarx82 07-09-2013 10:05 PM

I've not gone either, Event 6 is on the facebook group page: Coastal Empire SCCA Events
and it's on this page (just not labeled):http://www.buccaneerregion.com/soloevents.html
