Will 2010 CAMARO PACE CAR BE RELEASED AT INDY?

Who thinks GM is going to make the 2010 CAMARO the Official Pace Car for the 2009 INDY 500? Could we see a possible special edition SS Camaro convertible in white with orange stripes? This would make the show even better! I can't wait for the INDY show! Jeff

Dragoneye, Camaro paced the Indy 500 in 1967, 1969, 1982, 1993. The camaro was also used in other events such as the Brickyard 500.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the referrence to Dragoneye... Is your objective to be condecending?...

I hope the paint isn't all crazy and there are wheels painted yellow, LOL!

Yes...it's allright, though....it's kinda cute.

There won't be a 5th Gen pace car at the Indy event in a couple of weeks. But that doesn't mean there won't be one at all.;)

I'm putting MY money on the Daytona 500 in February. (REALLY! No insider news, I promise!)

Indy loves the Corvette Z06

I'm not sure GM has the power to tell the Indy 500 organization what car to choose ;) But I bet they've heavily influenced them :drinking: to choose it. I just hope the graphics aren't too :barf:

Scott said NO 5th Gen pace car at Indy, but that doesn't mean there won't ever be one.

GM likes to make money on tradition/anniversary models. Making 2012 the year (67 + 45) for an Anniversary/Pace Car Camaro.
Start locking in your vanity plates ideas, and saving your money for the 50K 2012/500hp Z28/SS/RS/Anniversary convertible :laughabove: .
