2010 SEMA Show: Overview

Chevrolet is showcasing concept and reality at this year’s 2010 SEMA Show – the premier automotive specialty performance products trade event in the world.

There are two big announcements pertaining to the 2011 Camaro – Chevrolet has announced it will introduce production versions of the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model and Camaro 1LT XM-Accessory Appearance Package early next year. For more details, see the Frequently Asked Questions listed below.

2010 SEMA Show: Frequently Asked Questions

Is there anything from the 2010 SEMA Show that Chevrolet will put into production?

Yes. Although shown in their pre-production state, both the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model and the Camaro 1LT XM Accessory Appearance Package are planned for production early next year.

Will the production versions be exactly the same as the properties showcased at SEMA?

No. The production version of the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 model and the Camaro 1LT XM Accessory Appearance Package will be not be exactly the same as the models shown at SEMA.

What is the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model?

Chevrolet has announced that it will release a special edition Camaro each year called the Synergy Series, emphasizing new approaches to accessory parts and customization. The first Camaro Synergy model was the 2010 Synergy Green special edition car. The Camaro Synergy Series 2011 model contains a mix of exterior and interior accessories – including combinations not available on any other production model. Examples of this execution include an exclusive gray interior with red accent stitching throughout the leather-appointed interior. It is based on Camaro Chroma, a show car first exhibited at 2009 SEMA show.

What will be included with the production Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model?

The Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model will be available with the 2LT and 2SS trim levels. The model will only be available in Cyber Gray Metallic; Summit White; Victory Red and Black exterior color. The model requires the RS Exterior package and the Gray leather-appointed interior. The model will have two levels available: level one will include the factory-installed 20-inch wheels, while level two will include dealer-installed 21-inch wheels. Also featured:

•Chevrolet Accessory Ground Effects Package (dealer installed)
•Chevrolet Accessory Grille with Painted Body Color Surround (dealer installed)
•Chevrolet Accessory Gill Decal (dealer installed)
•Blade Spoiler (factory installed)
•Body-color antenna (factory installed)

Interior:

•Red stitching on the leather-appointed seats, steering wheel, door panels, console lid, shifter boot, shift knob and headrest (factory installed)
•Red instrument cluster and accent lighting with Silver Ice interior trim kit (factory installed)
•Chevrolet Accessory Floor Mats with red border and silver Camaro lettering (factory installed)
•Chevrolet Accessory Footwell and Cup Holder Lighting (factory installed)

When will the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model be available?

The Camaro Synergy Series 2011 Model will be available to consumers in the first half of 2011 as a special edition model.

What is the Camaro 1LT XM Accessory Appearance Package?

Chevrolet developed the XM Accessory Appearance Package to provide new accessory and appearance options. It will be offered on the popular and affordable 2011 Camaro 1LT model with the standard 3.6L direct-injection V6 engine. The accessory package includes a factory installed rear spoiler, and dealer installed Chevrolet Accessories including front grille, new silver body side graphics and 21-inch wheels. When it comes to production in 2011, the package will include a one-year subscription to XM Satellite Radio, and be available in Imperial Blue, Black and Cyber Gray exterior colors.

When will the Camaro XM Accessory Appearance Package be available?

A production version of this package will be offered in the spring of 2011.
