I have a question that I was wondering if anyone has any info on.
I have a 2010 2ssrs, now that the 2011's are out does anyone know if you can put the heads up display in a 2010? I know that you have to change the windshield, and the dash top, what about wiring harness and any other parts involved. I am looking for part numbers and any other information. I asked the parts counter guys at my dealer and they were only able to go so far with it, they said that I needed the vin number from a 2011 2ss because they kept asking for it. I have an ABM 2ssrs and even if I could afford to buy a 2011 I could not get this color on it. Any help with this would be great!

Do People ever search for things?

Type HUD into search right now and you get exactly 1 result with HUD in the title on the first page.. Wait that's this thread. Search many times is not very effective even when used.

Yes you can, done it, looks great. No need for a new windshield and you cut the hole in the dash. Check out the link provided above by OHIOSS.

Just asking if its too much to do a little research on the forums before asking a question.

There are 2 search tabs, you have to do a search in all of the forum, Top bar in between "new Posts" and "Quick Links"

I have it on my 2LT/RS that is RJT with CGMS and I LOVE IT, my car was the third one to have the HUD installed in it.

I am aware of the feature. I was actually just making a point that searching for HUD resulted in 1 thread on the first page and that was this thread. Would have been 0 for the OP. The OP only has 11 posts and may not be too familiar with the site as of yet.

Many times it simply isn't all that effective. I myself have came up with "bad" results using search. Just trying to cut the OP a bit of slack here as they are new.

Thanks for all the info on the hud guys. That's why I really like being a member of this group and I hand out the web address to a lot of people that I think would like it!
