ECS SC1500 Kit Installed! *Updated With Dyno Results!*
Yeah, here is another happy ECS customer! I finished the install after a total time of 1 1/2 days (12hrs) of tinkering around putting this thing together in my spare time. I am a newb when it comes to super chargers but not to building cars, but I took my time with this install. I installed the Squash Dual pump system a few weeks ago to support the future power increases. I'm still 2 weeks away (28th) from getting tuned again by Justin Kalwei in KC. Hoping for a safe minimum of 600rwhp with my TSP cam.
I would like to thank Chris, Shawn and Alex at ECS for putting up with my dumb questions and for putting out such a nicely made kit! Final Numbers were 636rwhp and 581rwtq on 91 octane and 9 psi! Thanks to Justin "Justune" Kalwei at The Tuning Station in KC, Mo. Also thanks to Andy at Squash Performance! For a flawless performing fuel system. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/pictur...ctureid=111081 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/pictur...ctureid=111082 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/pictur...ctureid=111083 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/pictur...ctureid=111084 |

Are you running the restrictor plate?

You should be well over 600. I would say probably in the 625-650 range. If you add meth, you can get even more.

That's good, but also sucks at the same time. When you add meth, you'll need a retune.

Quick question, on the BOV, FPR and Hobbs switch hoses, do they all need clamps? I'm not to sure I have any clamps that small? How about spring/pinch clamps?
|
I don't believe so. If I recall, it's low pressure and the ends are flanged to grip the hoses. If anything for reassurance, you can always zip tie them.
