http://www.uniquetuning.com/

I read on another site that this place is good at tuning, and has a dyno. Not sure if this is the one some were talking about. but the guys name is mike. we would need to give them some notice and let them know how many were bringing so we don't screw up their schedule. this week prob wont do, but we don't have to wait till next month, we can do it whenever.

anyone feel like stopping into this place? its in hardeville area. see what they say about doing just dyno pulls, no tuning or tuning if some want??

side note, I just finished up my BMR split drop spring install tonight. really happy with the look.

Save some of your money Summit is almost always the most expensive, search around some:

I get the racer's discount through jegs. crushes summit prices and dont have to pay sales tax

$233.19 for that volant, for instance.

how much of a discount would there be on this?

963.99 list price...
917.16 my price

so $45 off or so.

Some items are more discount then others, its generally 5-20%

autoanything has this exhaust for 933. and they have free shipping, no tax, and there is a site wide 15% off coupon if they will let me use it. takes it to $793. now that's a big savings if they let me do it.

I really need an exhaust on this trailblazer before I take it to ohio at the end of the month.

cant use the coupon on borla. that blows. but they did say they would match the 913 from jegs. still too much for me

Just cut your cans/resonator off and add some nice mufflers or something. I can't honestly see all that money in a catback.

I have two $45 mufflers and two $90 race mufflers on my car... total cost of exhaust from headers back is like $350, and thats just because i have vibrant race mufflers on there as well for some extra noise reduction.

Guess im just a DIY fan, but why not add a pair of borla XR-1s in the stock catback, and re-use the factory tip(s)? Way cheaper, same or better sound.

right now I have my longtubes and off road y pipe. I replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster race style from a 2010 Camaro. and then I hacked off the resonator and tip. so it just dumps under the truck. I wanted to go with quad tips in stead of a single tip. figured to get a really nice kit I would just buy a slp or borla if the price wasn't too crazy. the companies are out of their minds on what they sell them kits for. its a few pieces of pipe and a single muffler. I can always throw a different muffler under it and finish it out the back but would rather have stainless which most shops don't do 3" stainless bending. I tend to use discount in garden city for my exhaust welding

barrys in savannah for me... tips are expensive. corsa ones are super nice but they're like $200 a piece

Jer4251 05-01-2013 08:39 PM

Im going to order 2 borla XR-1 sportsman oval mufflers and get some tips used from a guy on the TBSS site, and have a local shop make me duals. I should be able to fit 2 mufflers under the tbss you think. 240 shipped for the mufflers.

Jer4251 05-01-2013 08:45 PM

barrys charged someone I know like 200 bucks to do a muffler delete, where discount charged me $60 a few different times I had them do it.

Anybody down for a Mid-May Car show May 18 in Statesboro? We could do a meet at the usual place and ride up together. From what I hear at work this is a pretty good sized car show.

I'd be up for that also. I'll get busy and get my cold air kit on the way. Speaking of that....any recommendations?

I love my new era CAI...definitely recommend. No washer bottle re-lo required and no scoop needed.:thumb:
