What does it take to get to 426rwhp?

What does it take to get the car to 426 rwhp, have people seen 426 rwhp and 420rwtq from cold air intake, full exhaust (lt headers and hi flow cats), ported tb, and a really good quality tune?

Are you ls3 or l99?

With long tubes, offroad x, underdrive pulley, throttle body, and intake I made 420hp (ls3)

Depending on the tune/dyno your be right around there. I have mods you mentioned and managed 434

that is exactly what I am running with LS3, ARH headers, Solo cat back exhaust and CAI

BTW: You should be asking "what does it take to get to 11.90's" ?

Bo White 02-27-2013 05:19 PM

LTs/intake/tune will get most LS3s in the 410-425 range.

Why 426?

Mchlgrrsn 02-27-2013 05:47 PM

looks like your on the right path ... air in air out and good tune is the place to start. a pit stop at 420rwhp for a little bit ... you will want more within 6 months ... enjoy the quest for more power

426 rwhp because the engine is rated at 426 to the crank, so I thought it would be cool to make around 426 to the wheels, and that is around 500 to the crank right?

I wouldnt call getting to 426 buying, buying, and buying.

The cost to get that is chump change

i am the first to admit things break ... but you can get way more than 426 out of stock bottom end
