2011 Cyber Gray Metallic Camaro 1LT

My wife and I have wanted a 5th Gen Camaro since the concept cars came out in 2006. We had a young daughter, and a Camaro did not fit in at the time. She has since turned 16 and has her own car, a Mustang, I am sad to say. JK. We decided to make ourselves happy and bit the bullet and bought the Camaro. Four days after buying it, my wife could not take the quietness of the stock suitcase mufflers and took it to the muffler shop where we put on Magnaflows. Looking at other mods such as rally stripes or handpainted pinstriping and lettering. Also, later on...maybe....and RS package.
We are really having a ball with it. Have had it in several shows and at several cruise-ins with many compliments. We are planning on joining 5th Gen of the Carolinas club soon. We will keep updated as we make mods. |
Keep up the mods! Love the color

Thanks everyone, CGM had always been one of our favorite colors in the 5th gen. When this one came up for sale at our local Chevy dealer we could not resist. The paint had the usual swirls and light scratches from being two years old. I had been lurking on Camaro5 for about a yearn especially in the detailing forum about removing swirls and other small defects. After around ten hours of compounding and polishing the paint is really starting to pop. It gets lots of compliments.on the paint at cruise ins and shows. Still needs a little more work but it is getting there.

Here are the new stripes. They have the ghost-like effect. They are carbon fiber Copo Camaro stripes.
