What Detector Do You Use In Your Camaro?

I'm sure many here use radar detection of some kind in their Camaros. Was curious on what you guys use and/or would suggest? When I get mine within the month i'd like to get one due to living in a small town all these cops have to occupy their time is trap trap trap. Thanks guys!

P.s. Test drove the EXACT car I want at the dealership... IT WAS AMAZING! The wait couldn't be any more unbearable!!!

My dad uses the Valentine One! I really like it! But $400 is quite a tag... but maybe worth it :)

Valentine 1 all the way, make sure you order directly from their website, it's the cheapest over amazon and most ebayer's or other "dealers". It's awesome we have them in both our car and truck.

Valentine 1, just drove from PA to New Orleans / Baton Rouge and back, V1 is in all four of my cars.

I think I may save up for one! But are there any other brands that do well? Or is there no contest?

Most LEO's are using lidar not radar. Used properly, a detector won't ping when a car is painted with lidar.
Even if you get an alert, the speed of light is quicker than your ability to hit the brakes.

Passport 9500ix is on par with Valentine. Price range about the same.

COBRA! Cheap but effective. One in my Vette and one in my Camaro. :iono:

I use a Passport 9500ix, but they have a new one that is a 9500iq. It has laser, radar, GPS, and bluetooth. I looks like a portable nav system and mounts like one. You can turn the detector off when in states they aren't allowed. Interesting concept. I'd check it out thoroughly though. Usually there's some issues when you stuff all those features into one package. The real key to making them work is to not be obnoxious about speeding. Driving 10 or maybe even 15 over on the freeway will likely not get you pulled. Nice to have a detector though, just so you know.

You are better off investing in this technology. Illegal in some states.
