newagemuscle's Build Journal
This build jounal will walk you through the journey of modifying my 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS. I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show. As for the color, I have always been a fan of yellow sports cars and after seeing it in the Transformers I knew that was what I wanted. I took delivery of it from Buff Whelan Chevrolet here in Michigan on October 4, 2009. Like many here, my initial intensions for this car were never planned to go as far as they have to date. At one time I actually believed I would be content with just a simple axle back exhaust and cold air induction. As you can tell by the pictures it has evolved into a whole different story. I want to say the journey is complete…and keep telling myself and wife that, but it always seems like something new catches my eye and wallet. Enjoy… http://www.camaro5.com/forums/pictur...ictureid=75934 General Details: Year: 2010 Model: SS/RS Color: Rally Yellow Engine: LS3 Transmission: M6 Interior seat/trim color: black leather Wheels: Polished MISC: OEM Factory Red Car Cover Exterior Modifications: Factory black rally stripes Sparks Restoration SS Front & Rear Emblems Tinted windows TSW Nurburgring Wheels (Matte Gun Metal) Nitto Invos: Front - 275, Rear - 315 Red Powdercoated Calipers - Mike Golding (Customs by Mike) 1LE diffuser with quad tips Grenetelli Slotted/Drilled Rotors NLP Spoiler Factory Stripe Extension over spoiler SLP Faded Fills (Flat Finish) AAC P13W Plasma LED DRL Painted Tail Light Bezels (Satin Black) AAC Afterburner Tail Lights Custom Under hood and Grill Lighting Body Color Antenna (Rodgers Chevrolet) Revolution Motorsports front & rear Blackout Kit LED License Plate Bulbs RPI Body Color License Plate Frame Custom License Plate "SAY GO" SLP Front Splitter SLP Engine/Coil Covers Wind Shield Wiper Delete Drake Strut Covers (Anodized Black) Interior Modifications: Hurst shifter SRP billet race peddals SRP Billet Heal Guard Lyodd floor mats Foot Well Lightling Emblem Pros Custom Dash Plaque and Rear Supercharged LS3 Emblem Performance/Handling Modifications: SLP TVS 2300 Supercharger 1:1 Cog Drive OD Cog Drive (Soon to be installed ) 3.6 Pulley Kooks 1 7/8 LT's with Off Road pipes ZL1 Fuel Pump ADM Fuel Control Mod SLP LM II axle back ZR1 Spark Plugs Taylor 109 Wires Roto-fab CAI VMAX Throttle Body Custom dyno tune APEX Race Scood - Washer Delete 160 degree T-stat Hurst short throw shifter McLeod RXT Twin Clutch Monster billet bearing support Monster Speed Bleeder Elite Catch Can Future Planned Modifications: SLP Boost Gauge Hex Vents Attachment 569786 Attachment 569823 Attachment 569824 Attachment 569825 Attachment 569826 Attachment 569827 Attachment 569828 Attachment 569829 Attachment 569830 Attachment 569831 Attachment 569832 Attachment 569833 Attachment 569834 Attachment 569835 Attachment 569836 Attachment 569837 Attachment 569838 Attachment 569839 Attachment 569840 Attachment 569841 Attachment 569842 Attachment 569843 Attachment 569844 Attachment 569845 Attachment 569846 Attachment 569847 Attachment 569848 Attachment 569849 Attachment 569850 Attachment 569851 Attachment 569852 Attachment 569853 Attachment 569854 Attachment 569855 Attachment 569856 Attachment 569857 Attachment 569858 Detroit 5th Gen Car Club - Camaro of the Month - June 2013 http://www.detroit5thgen.com/members/home Attachment 570567 YouTube Videos: First time to Milan with blower http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URzSM...RARcOBw8TjBqfw SLP TVS2300 w/ cog drive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRPK84jc0QI LED Under Hood Lighting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqwd60qfe8k Dyno run with blower (Alternative Performance) 547hp/512tq http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQa7VsucBnA AAC Afterburners Installed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unzrihemA1U Her first time to drag strip with headers, tune, and CAI. Newagemuscle,
Impressed!! What a nice build. I love how you get the boys involved...quality time for sure!! Simply love the look of all your personal touches...and under the hood is outrageous!!...:thumb: :hail: Kurt ABL99...:chevy: |
nicely done!

I just got my SRP heel guards to save my mats. I think it adds a nice touch and works well with my SRP pedals and Lyodd floor mats.

Installed mt Scott Drake strut covers today. these are billet aluminun and anodized black which matches my Elite catch can nice. These basically swap out the factory stamped piece. I think they add a nice touch to the engine compartment.
