 Go on line to Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center. Tell them what you have, include the vin number for your car. Your name.

Give your mailing address to send the letter to.

They are not sending them out to everyone that has this edition, you need to request it.

It's pretty easy, good luck

Here is the web site cac@chevrolet.com

Thanks for providing the email link! The Chevy website has about2 dozen different contact categories, and none sounded like the right dept.

Commemorative Edition Totals

Cool! So I emailed the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center as far as production numbers for the 2015 Commemorative Edition Camaros a few days ago.

I got a response today and here is what they emailed me:

Greetings from the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center. Please accept my apologies on behalf of Chevrolet for any inconvenience this matter has caused you and for our delayed response to your email due to high email volume.

Based on the information that we have gathered about the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Commemorative Edition, there were 2321 that were produced in total. For the convertible there are 545 and 353 were SS, for coupe there are 1776 and 938 were SS. However, we do not have yet any further break downs on how many of the Commemorative had a particular transmission or the colors.

So that means there were 2,321 produced and not the 1,972 mentioned earlier. Also they don't yet have a breakdown of the colors or options as of yet.

Anyway - thought I'd share for those curious about the Commemorative Edition cars. It narrows mine down to at least one of 938 made. LoL. Maybe (and hopefully) when they have more info available it could break down even further.

Also was wondering with the info we are getting on the 2015's if maybe the OP or an admin or mod or whoever could add a 2015 folder at the front of this thread and post our numbers we are getting in there to at least establish a database for the 2015's. Just an idea!

Here are the 2015 Production Numbers based off of the last two pages of inputs from you all:

103,563 Total Produced
84,929 Total Coupes
18,634 Total Convertibles

2,321 Total Commemorative Editions Made
1,776 Were Coupes
*938 of those coupes were 2SS/RS models
545 Were Convertibles
*353 of those convertibles were 2SS/RS models
(remainder of each Coupe & Convertible Commemorative Editions were V6/RS models)

707 Total Green Flash Editions Made
649 Were Coupes
58 Were Convertibles

 A few other members are getting different numbers on the Green Flash Edition.
On their request the total productions they sent was,

105,060 total produced
811 Green Flash total Coupes and Verts
729 Coupes
82 Verts

This is different from the first batch of information :noidea:

It's crazy that these different numbers are coming in for the Green Flash models. They were all built at the same place! Whatever it says on my Certificate of Authenticity is what I am going with!!!

Didn't see any of that in the last few pages of this thread... they must have posted it elsewhere in the forums. I rolled with the numbers previously shared in the last few pages of this thread as well as what I was sent today. Either way... would be nice to get better breakdowns and accurate numbers, but we gotta start somewhere. LoL.

theragtopguy 02-09-2016 05:22 PM

What we have here.......is a failure to communicate!!!!

Who knows where these Chevrolet Customer reps get their numbers. It can't be THAT difficult.....they were all made at the same plant, around the same time in February-March of 2015.

I will go by whatever it says on my Certificate of Authenticity when I get it.

So I'm pretty stoked about that.

I don't know if I'll file this with the rest of my car's records or frame it and hang it in the garage.

You need to e-mail Chevrolet Customer Assistance. Nobody here can help you out. I don't even know if they can break it down to just colors and stripes. Doubtful.

Good luck!!

For those that aren't on the Green Flash thread, here's the letter I got from Chevy this week. No mention of build numbers, just, "yes, you own one."

Scandata, maybe you can send another request for actual counts. They do say if you have any further questions to ask.

Good point, I will. The worst they can do is say no.
