Video of the CMS 1LE on Willow Springs Raceway

Yesterday we hit up willow springs in our shop 1LE camaro to play with some of our Corvette customers. One of my good customers setup camaras on the 1LE and his c6 (front and back view's on both cars). Very fun, and surprised i could keep up considering he makes 510+ RWHP and was on hoosier a6's (1LE on toyo R888's). It was scorching hot out there (102+ F) but I still managed to turn a 1:34.4 best lap time for the day, not bad considering it was my first time on Big Willow with the 1LE...
Mods on the 1LE are:
CMS custom cam package, ARH headers, Airaid intake, Pfadt zl1 spec bars, Pfadt solid cradle bushings, Pfadt Lowering springs, and Toyo R888's (285-35-20, 315-30-20)

Very nice video!!! Do you think the 285 front and the 305 rear is a better setup then 285's all around?

Very nice you can defiantly see the power advantage on the straights.

Sent from the fast lane!

Thats great stuff man, thanks for posting.I used to race there i was WSMC(willow springs motorcycle club)#92 from 2000-2005 I wanted to make it but,i need to use that money for my stainless steal brake lines, getting ready for Fontana Aug11th,can you make that date?it would sure look cool to have to VR 1LE's tearing up the track.
I wondered what the 1LE would do around my home track,my best time on my bike was 128.77,and thats just plain flying,so for you to do 134.4 means you were just flying too. What speeds did you see going in to #1,and what did you see going into #8? I would go in to #8 at 140 and at 145 my knee would start dragging, thats a feeling that word just dont describe.

i plan on making ACS in august. i ran the 1:34.4 in the first session, and frankly i was feeling out the track in the camaro (never taken the camaro on willow), but by the end of the day my lines were pretty good. I am confident that i could gone a 1:33.xx on a fresh cool morning.. we'll see next time... going into turn one i am topped out in 4th around 140ish, going into 8 maintaining about 120-125mph
