Hello to all, I am a first time poster here, but I've been reading posts on here for quite some time. This is the hottest car I have ever seen and I can not wait for it to be in my driveway! Is there going to be a convertible?

There will be a convertible. It will be released shortly after the coupe is released. GM says it will hit dealers in 2010, but look for it to come out a little early if everything goes off w/out a hitch in 09.

Please take a few minutes to check out all the forums. There is a wealth of information on the coupe and vert all over the forums.

We've got to have a Camaro5 get together in a few years, just everybody who's still around after they buy their Camaro (I know I will be)and meet somewhere in the middle of the country. Somewhere where we can show off our cars.
I say a few years because that's when I'll have my own car (5th gen Camaro), and be free...I would love to take a multi-hundred mile road trip to see some of you guys!

You betcha! Check in on the tour dates as well for the concepts. If you haven't seen one of the concepts on tour, YOU MUST CHECK IT OUT. Pictures do NOT do this Camaro justice. Just ask anyone here. It is that much better in person!

I AGREE COMPLETELY. I've read on other forums how these folks will get together from all over the country, get hotel rooms on the same floor, and spend the weekend together cruising, going to theme parks, chatting, and basically just having a good time. I'M IN. Excellent idea, Dragon.
