Stevenson Motorsports 6thGen Camaro GT4 to Debut at Sebring...
 

I was watching the Rolex 24HR race qualifying session on IMSA TV and the announcers were commenting on a rumor that Stevenson Racing will debut a GT4 race version of the Camaro at the Sebring Race. This may well be the place and time for the public debut of the new Z/28.

Source at Stevenson says there will be an announcement in a few weeks that we will like. Beyond that, his lips are sealed.

Wow, this (hopefully) is great news. Too bad they couldn't make it for Rolex 24.

Whatever model it is will be GT4 homologated to run in the GS Class this season. Couldn't imagine there would be pics if it weren't announced yet.

Yeah any pictures I find are of 5th Gens in GT4 spec. Cannot wait for this car to debut. The GS field was very strong at the opener

I may make it a point to spend some time at the 12 hours this year. It's only 20 miles away. I just got through spending some HPDE time on the track.

Just saw this on my facebook feed. Legit! Kinda makes you wonder since the last GT racer was the Z28.R and this is the GT4.R...hmmm...marketing decision perhaps? I can't see them shelving the Z28 nomeclature for the street car. I guess we'll see in March haha
