2012 San Diego International Auto Show - Sat, 12/31/2011
 

Who wants to go to the 2012 San Diego International Auto Show this month before the year is out? The plan is to cruise together and arrive at the ACE Parking Structure (name may have changed) attached to the Hilton Hotel - on east side the Convention Center - by the 10:00 am opening time of the show!

Here are two proposed cruise routes, meet at 9:00 am and leave for Downtown at 09:30 am:

1. Mission Bay -> SD Convention Center Cruise (20 minutes)
2. Mission San Diego de Alcala -> SD Convention Center Cruise (23 minutes)

We can pick ONE of the above cruise starting points, or, we can do BOTH! If both, those leaving from Mission San Diego could leave at 09:25 am for the extra ~:03 minute route time (or, just push the speed limit west on I-8...last chance for a speeding ticket in 2011, so what the heck!). The 2 groups would link up on PCH just south of the W. Washington Street exit for the last 3 miles of the cruise. No matter what we decide, everyone meets on the top of the parking structure by 10:00 am!

Ken, is that you? Will you and Beth be bringing BOTH Camaros? If so, and if I was a betting man, I would say you will be 'stuck' driving the '69 convertible...too dang cold for the ladies in our lives... :yikes:

We'll probably bring ol "Betsy" since I got her back this will be her first Cruise. As for the Wife... she's from Minnesota, she'll probably be in a Tank Top! :D

I'll be there. Possibly girlfriend and daughter as well.

Mike what about us guys coming from the South Bay, where can we hook up?. Last time we met at the 28th Street (I-5) off ramp at one of the fast food places. I am flexible with any location. :headbang:

How about this for a South Bay route...
3. Starbucks @28th Street & I-5 -> Convention Center Cruise (17 minutes)

17 minutes (!) you ask? Well, this is the "extended" route...let's you get a little bit more of I-5 under your tires...exit at Sassafras to hook up with those coming from the north and / or east...we don't want to bunch up the Washington exit, so your group would come in 1 exit south of that...leaving Starbucks around 09:35 am...

I feel your paid trying to get everyone together is tough. I would also be coming from south bay Eastlake so perhaps some would be interested in something from out that way?

Hey! Tapatalk for Ipad is specifically for the Ipad. It isn't the 2x version of the Iphone tapatalk. It works great, although visually identical to the Iphone version.

A LITTLE REAR END TROUBLE...
 

I blew up the my 410 Richmonds last Saturday Night ( only 2500 miles). I don't know what happened... 2nd to 3rd gear shift coming home from dinner... then BAM!, I'm calling a flatbed! Greg @ RPMM is doing the rebuild & set up on my new 433's... As long as I get them back by the 30th I'll be able to get them back into the car... I'll be on the drive! :D
