V6 to V8 manual trans swap.

I want to put a v8 manual trans in my V6 2013, Can this be done? I am turbo charging my car and don't think the v6 trans will hold up. Can it bolt up? I'm working on getting the axles ect.... from a SS.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I will be selling my m6 soon. PM me if interested, trans works perfect and the clutch is perfect too. Going with a dedicated drag setup with a th400!

Why not just change the clutch out and maybe the driveshaft a long with the axles. They don't have to be from an SS.

No it won't bolt up and will take a fair amount of custom work until/if/when someone makes a kit.

Does anyone know how well the v6 trans will hold up? From what I'm seeing I am looking in the 450 ft/lb and 475 to 500hp at the crank. I had a 91RS with the old T5 and went through 5 before I gave up. Hopefully this is a much better trans.

The numbers I see on the web are 345 ft-lbf of torque. Doesn't look promising.

have you thought about also putting a solid rear axle in the rear with the copo rear plate kit?
