Is this the AUX jack, or the USB that's giving you trouble?

for me...its the ipod jack. i have a regular ipod (not iphone) that works fine otherwise. the static goes away on the radio etc. my xm sub expired so i have been listening to that a lot more and its VERY noticeable and happens pretty much everytime i drive now (but comes and goes).
If you notice it only happens when you first start your car that is cause the Ipod takes a bit to start up when its in sleep mode this is why your getting that noise once the Ipod is completely on then noise goes away
nah i get it no matter the time, car could have been on for 3hrs and i still get it...guess i'll need to take it in. was just wondering if this is a known issue. crap. worst part about something like this is its intermitent and electrical.
I get the same thing. Most of the time it happens when searching for a song or skipping to the next song.
unplug your usb from the car not from the phone and plug it back in.. only way its fixed the probem on mine... Pretty sad i can drive down the road unplug it and plug it back in without looking ive done it so much.... Dumb..
i have found the static is only as my phone is automatically connecting with the cars wireless bluetooth. then once complete connection it goes right away. ;)
