I think in 1990 that was the case, or if it had a 305 with manual trans.

But for 1987....yes, T-tops were optional on the IROC-Z. Straight from the brochure....

And a window sticker... 350 AND CC1.

The early L98 cars (87-88) were in fact available with T-tops. Everyone thinks it was due to the frame twisting but it had more to do with the weight.

I had an 87 350 Auto (only trans avail with the 350 that year) TTop as my first car. Only difference was mine said IROC on the doors, why doesn't this one have that?

This one also appears to be missing the Z28 badge on the rear bumper.

Added some new updated pics, also added the purchased options and tags.

Thank you everyone that helped confirm that:happy0180:

They were decals, and over the years, perhaps the decals started to flake off, chip, etc., and they were taken off. Seen it done on Monte SS's a lot too. Easy to replace though.

I think if you look at the right side of the bumper you can see where the sticker was. They did not have the indentation for it on non Z-28's.
