Trade my zl1 for a c7
Hey fellas anybody do this jump over to the c7
Your opinions would be great |
My opinion is that trading the ZL1 for a C7 is like trading your wife for a stripper even though they can do all the same moves but one requires a sturdier pole.
|
Just saying I traded my c6 for a camero. Haven't looked back was just at the dealer this week and besides from the rumble of the vette there wasn't anything I could say that I liked about the c7. I would rather have the c6 than a C7 and like I said I traded my C6 for a camaro. I would never trade a zl1 for a c7. But OP that just my 2 cents.

There's no wrong answer here. The only opinion that counts is yours. Do what you want, regardless of opinions here.
|
I love the C7. One guy ran 11.6 bone stock. That's awesome.
|
The C7 is really, really cool, and sure it's fast...
The ZL1 is just plain Badass... the "I'm gonna kick your ass" look is awesome... plus it's no slug either Which one do you think I like more? |

I am lucky enough to be able to have both. They are both GREAT cars, but probably won't keep both. At this point in time, the wife and I both agree, I will very probably keep the Corvette and it will be very hard to let the ZL1 go.
|
I could not let the back seat go, what if a bus full of models gets a flat and they need a ride, and I only had to pick one?!?
|
I would, but I need the backseats. The ZL1 was the best compromise between performance and utility. And I still have an old vette-rod. So, If you son't need those rear seats...Go for it! :)

I will test drive when its possible and then make a decision,
The zl1 is a special car. |
I feel your conflict. My wife and I decided to trade our c6 convertible and the G8 GT in for a C7. No paying for winter storage since the C7 won't be delivered until April. It will be the only car in the stable that isn't black (cyber grey). It will be her daily driver for the summer, and I will stick with the ZL1. When either of us is bored we just switch. I can't seem to get out of the Vette and look graceful.
I swore I would never sell the G8GT but once I took the ZL1 on a long highway tour I had to admit it was just as comfy and I really didn't need for doors anymore. So I say drive what you love, and love what you drive. And if you can't be with the one you love....love the one your with:biggrin: http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...31516316a4.jpg |
