Disappointed in numbers.

I just installed my night fury cam in my 2012 ls3. I also have have TSP 1 7/8 LT headers and roto-fab intake. Really disappointed in numbers. It was 81 degrees really nice day. Dynoed on a dyno jet

WOW, that's a lot lower than what others have posted. I'm sure it's in the tune.
Gotta be.
yep seems about 10% off overall
Which part? I was talking him I have been seeing in the 470 to 480s and he said there is no way
AdamSS dyno'd at 420 rwhp/425rwtq just from a CAI intake and 1-7/8 tsp headers.... ITs gotta be in the tune man.
There are guys claiming 500+whp with the NFC. Don't think they have head work either but I could be mistaken.
That car or dyno has problems. It peaked at 5600rpms. I'd look twice at the valve springs, pushrods, and/or rockers. It's also possible the cam was installed 4 degrees off with that power curve (a tooth)
Who installed it bandit.

My uncle, dad, and I. My uncle has swapped many cams he did the valves and double checked them. We cleaned every push rod off before install. All rocker arms are in the exact same spot. And on the gear we even took a picture of the dots to make sure it's exact.

Did you make sure you were at TDC when you aligned it? What springs and what pushrods sir. |
Sure did. The PAC springs. Everything that came in the night fury racing package. Could hearing it help any to tell if something is off? Or will that not make a difference cause I can get a video
Hearing it probably won't help, but we'll all take a video!
I agree with these other guys. Retrace your steps and try to figure out what the deal is. You're right to be disappointed. Something isn't right. |
