SLP Loudmouth 1 = Straight Pipe?

I like the sound of the LM1, but it looks like it's just a straight pipe. Is it? I don't want to pay $400+ just for a straight pipe that can be done for $100.

It is just straight pipes but in all the videos I've heard the LM1 always sounds better. I wonder if they use a larger diameter pipe?
