Like the color, works and looks great.

Would suggest to anyone who wants a custom filter color.

Someone told me that I could put a black Edelbrock filter on my Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake. Can anyone confirm this?

I would like to replace my cai stock filter with a black edelbrock filter. Does anyone know which size I should order to fit in my 2013 2LT LFX 3.6L V6 Manual with a Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake?

Here are some links

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

UPDATE: What I'm trying to do here is have a black filter on my CAI, suggestions welcome

says it will fit 3.5 and that's what you need so I don't see an issue, just don't get the one that's 10" long.

So I should order the edelbrock 43640? Seems a bit short at only 6.70 long?
How long is the stock CAI filter?

Plasti-dip the filter.

Yeah I hear rubber is super good at letting air pass through it

That was sarcasm.

Ya I haven't had a chance to look into the Edelbrock filter yet.. :(

That would look nice! If it fits width wise the length won't be a huge deal. You're still sucking in the same amount of air.

Just ordered Edlebrock 43640 from amazon for $19.49 with free Amazon Prime 2 day shipping... that's the short 6.70" black filter.

I will post photos and results next week

Roto-Fab uses S&B Brand oiled filters. The stock one is S&B part number R0927 for red oiled. S&B part number R1242 is the blue one (chrome ring around the top of the filter)

I have an S&B R1243 on hand if you are interested, same dimensions, blue oil, has a black ring on the top instead of the chrome
