yep they ordered and installed the wrong part. I have DA not DB. I gave them the part number again, but he says they have to call tech support and talk to them about it. Also when they replaced the module the banged up my center console real good. They ordered a replacement for that. I'm just ready for this stuff to be done.

Also when they installed they got dirt or grease on my seat covers. But I think I got it all cleaned off.

I just got mine replaced today, now it is HW: DB SW: DB, no issues yet.

I just took mine to the dealer today, with a print out of the bulletin. At first the service manager told me he was having is guy upgrade my PDIM. I then told him that I have the C version and that it calls for it to be replaced. He went back and read the bulletin and then told me he put the part on order. Boy, I love these forums.

No, I didn't give them the p/n. You're probably right it will be the wrong one. I have the correct p/n written down, I'll stop by to make sure they have the right one on order. Thanks.

Went to the dealership this morning, I showed them what it is doing. About an hour later they tried giving my some BS about it working with no problems with the techs iPod, told me I needed to update the iPod software. Told them I did that already did that and I have the latest software on it. I also told them that it happens with my wife & daughters iPod, it works ok for a few days then stops.

I finally got them to agree to order a new one, confirmed they had the latest P/N. But the service lady said if they send it back to GM and they find no issues with it then GM will not pay for the new one. She said she'll have to talk to her manager and for me to call later. So I don't know if they say GM doesn't find any issues if they are going to try and bill me for the new one.

I tell you what, if they don't do me right with this they will loose me and all my friends as customers.

And I did take the document from this thread to show them.
