Th350 vs th400 vs 700r
So between these 3 what's the best for 1000whp on a street car that will go to the track some.

A built TH400 is the best way to go for the track but you'll be missing your overdrive.
We would recommend a 4l80, it's based off the TH400 and it has overdrive which will be way better for the street. They can be built to handle serious power as well. We get them through RPM and can get you a discount. PM us and we can get you some details. |
Full manual valve body 4l80 to hold 1000whp is quite a bit more in price compared to the 3 I listed.

700r is crap
th350 can work with upgraded internals th400 with a good shift kit is best overdrives are overrated Ive got over 32k miles on my th400 swap |
th400 best option if you are really just racing all the time, You may not have to cut into the frame for that pesky harness plug on the 4l80E swap.
Th400 from what i understand has the best transbrake of the bunch, although the custom stuff from jakes is supposed to be really good. 400's can be made to handle alot more than 1000, thats for sure! much cheaper to boot |

What rear diff gears are you running with your 400? What does she trap in the quarter? I have been thinking about a 400 opposed to a 4l80e aswell just because of pricing, did you have to cut the car for any fitment? |
4.10
So far Ive been 122 but run out of gear a touch with the 26" drag radials |
