What career has allowed you to buy your camaro?

I'm 20, currently getting my basics. I still haven't decided what I want to major in. I want a career that will allow me to get a camaro. So, what do you guys do?

steveo9043 10-06-2011 10:24 AM

well to answer your question. (im 23) Im an entry level Information Technology Specialist and full time student.

I haven't purchased my camaro yet but I currently drive a 08 G8 GT. Just looking for the right deal to come by on the camaro I want.

Don't pick a career that makes the most money just because you want money. Pick a career that you can go to work everyday and enjoy it. Like people say "its not work if you enjoy it"

Yea, I'm leaning towards something in the IT field or maybe even robotics. How do you like the IT field?

dutchnrican 10-06-2011 10:29 AM

Yea, it's hard trying to figure out what to do. So many choices.

20 years in the U.S. Air Force! That's what allowed me to get my Camaro....it was a "Retirement Gift" to myself. Retirement check helps to pay the car payment!!! It was a long road......but in hindsight, well worth it. Not many people can say they started getting a retirement check at 38 years old!!!

I'm 31, was a Sr. Nuclear Analyst but switched fields at 22 over to IT. I'm a network / virtualization technician now. No matter what the size of the company they all need IT people so figured it was a good move, and it has been. Started on phones and worked my way up (took a $6/hr pay cut switching jobs to get into IT, but I'm happier and I've more than made up for that initial pay cut).

Retired now after almost 40 years in the insurance industry as a Claims specialist.
Have worked from Maine to Calif- Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, N.Y. City, R.I and finally Ct.
This has allowed me to do many things including buying this new Camaro.
