Midnight Silver rim care

Hey guys, question about cleaning the Midnight Silver rims that come standard with the RS package. They're painted, right? So would I clean them like I'm cleaning any other painted part of the car? Also, does anyone know how well they'll hold up over the years compared to aluminum or other types of wheels? Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is a repost!

Keep them clean.

Do not let brake dust to accumulate and sit on them for any extended period of time.

Apply polish asap.

As most here know, I use Zaino, and I've Zainoed every set of wheels, and no problems.

Just keep them clean and keep them waxed/polished, and you'll be fine.

The wheels are painted? I would have kept the stock wheels or gone polished if I knew that. Ugh...Oh well.

Yes but you will be able to fool everyone with the midnight silver wheels. They look like clear coat over polished steel.

That's a good question. I probably would to keep the consistency of the wax even.

There easier to maintain then polished wheels

Treat them just like any other painted surface. Clean and wash, wax and polish and above all no chemicals.

Advice Needed!

Moose.....I need your advice. I didn't polish my midnight silver wheels like I should have. I noticed that there seems to be some buildup of grime or brake dust in some areas now. What do you recommend to get them back looking good as possible? Thanks
