Directions to CF8 from I 40 west coming from Knoxville.
 

Looking for the best route to get to CF VIII coming from I40 from Knoxville,
Is it best to go all the way to Nashville and north on 65 OR get off on one of the twisty curvy roads ? Thanks for responding.

I-40 West to Nashville, North on Briley Parkway and then north on I-65 to BG is the quickest way. Hwy 109 and Hwy 231 routes are a few miles shorter but not as quick.

Garmin or Google will give you the best route. I use my Garmin.

When we came back from Pigeon Forge to Indiana Via BG, we went toward Lexington then cut over at London. Not sure of the time difference if you go that way.

I drive to Knoxville almost every weekends from BG and whichever route you take, it doesn't make that much of a difference.
Always about 2:45 to 3:00 drive depending on traffic.
On busier weekends, I recommend taking 231 as it seems to have less construction going on.
