plate on the dash?????
 

I saw someone had an engraved plate on the dash in the slot on the right side of the stering wheel with "specially built for ______" If you custom ordered your camaro did it come from the factory with this plate and your name on it? Its the same slot on the left side of the stering wheel that has the headlight switch.

thats the same spot where the new HUD buttons IS LOCATED on the 2011's... i always wondered why on the 2010s it was just an empty slot....

Damn... I am glad you told me that the HUD is there now.... I was going to order one of those right after I order my 2011.... now I know there would be no place for it.

What is that button for? I cant figure out what the HUD means? Knowing myself it is probably something simple & just cant think of it!!!!

I would rather have my dash plaque then the HUD. I personally don't like it. I have had it on my suv for 2 years now first thing i do when i get in it is turn that off. My wife likes it though.

stands for heads up display. shows info on your windshield in front of your steering wheel.

The up/down arrows move the heads up display in the little "window" so you can adjust it depending on your height etc...

I've got one of those plates coming in the mail this week. It's a perfect spot for it. Looks like something should go in that cut-out area.

Yep, HUD is there now on the 2011's. Guess that's what they planned on.
