XM radio for 3 months or 12 months?

I thought the ZL1 came with 12 months but I received a notice yesterday from XM saying it was 3 months? My SS it was 3 months but was under the impression ZL1s received a longer trial.

ZL1 owners was it 3 or 12 for you? (When you respond what year is your car?)

both 2012 and 2013 should get 12 months says right on the window sticker have your dealer fix it mine is 2013 and so was my dads and they both initially came with 3 months but when questioned they changed it. most cars come with 3 and the dealers assume thats the case with these.

2012 came with 12 months free

I'm dealing with this right now. I told them when I first got the car that it was supposed to be 12 months. They weren't sure what to do. I just called the dealership and said "my trial expired at 3 months, both my window sticker, which i still have, and the chevrolet website says the ZL1 comes with 12 months. Fix it now."

I'm waiting for them to call me back.

My 2012 has 12 months free. Check your window sticker.

You have to have your dealer renew it at the end of 3 month period. Mine has renewed it twice and has one more time to go. Your sticker and sales literature both say 12 months. Don't let them tell you different. It has to be done through the dealer XM seems to know nothing about the "12 month deal."

I dont have an ZL1 but I have read the sh** out of the window stickers clearly it says 12 months

Been there...done that. I have a 2012 and it's 12 months. As others have stated, don't waste your time calling XM. Go straight to the dealer.

Thanks these, I'm going to email my dealer now and see what he says.

I bought my 2011 SS in January of 2012 and it came with 12 months instead of the three stated on the window sticker.

I have been listening to my Ipod for so long I had not checked the XM signal and indeed mine was not activated. A 10 min phone call fixed the problem and it is now activated for 1 year. Thanks for the above post!
