Wow. The Challenger has outsold the Mustang so far this year. I hope the refresh strengthens the Camaros lead.

I was like 'huh'???

Really interesting in this chart when the 14's are built & people start holding off for the next gen of the Mustang & Camaro. The trend for the Challenger is impressive considering how little it's changed.

Third month in a row for Camaro sales going down....Ya think maybe there was a reason for the "re-fresh"?...the old look is all played out....

Camaro's still holding on to the lead, but it's clear the Challenger is chipping away at both Ford and Chevy.

To be honest the Challenger has changed quite a bit. They got rid of that awful V6 for their current one, they've beefed up the SRT to 470hp, and they always come out with exciting colors and special packages. I think they've done pretty well considering.

Thanks for the clarification/information since I really never checked it out. I'm sure they're enjoying the ride while the Mustang & Camaro go through their last few model years.

I would agree w/ above that that the chart indicates the Camaro needed some sort of refresh - whether or not you like it.

Incentives and new releases of each car muddy the waters too much. You need wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more detail to understand this fully. Bottom line I see the Camaro still doing well!

Happy to count myself in as one of those sales! :headbang:

Is it possible to find out how many were V6s and how many were V8s?

Enator 05-01-2013 01:35 PM

It was before but not anymore sorry.

Fiveg56 05-01-2013 01:37 PM

The Challenger is a stronger contender these days...and for good reason...they are cool cars.

mirabella 05-01-2013 01:42 PM

One of those April sales was mine :)

Cheveey57 05-01-2013 01:50 PM

Wait until the 14's come out, the sales will be worse.
