Any chance for a 1LE or B4C option?

I wonder if we will see the 1LE or B4C options on the 5th gen since there is no Z28 option now. It would be cool to have a 1SS/1LE or an LS/B4C optioned Camaro.

too early to call, im sure they will make a b4c of some sort, but i think the 1le may not make it back. i think the canceling in 1999 of chevy's 1le package is indicative of chevy's mindset about the overhead involved in keeping the parts for such a low selling (relatively) option. if you really want that extra handling performance you could just look to suppliers like pedders or other suspension companies

while there might be a 1LE option somewhere down the road, it for sure wont be available and launch and would need a car like a Z28 to support it... until we see a Z28, a 1LE style suspension is not only unlikely, but unprofitable.

a B4C is possible, but not at launch... selling to the police departments and other government agencies is VERY bad for the bottom line, as they make almost no money on these cars... so look for this in the future, maybe, after the car has made its initial launch and needs some extra sales to justify its existence.

X2

Is there hope for a B4C and the Z-28? My 1992 and 2002 B4C's were both Z-28's. The 1992 was badged as an RS and the 2002 has none.

B4C were also the base for the GMMG, Berger, Tom Henry, etc. high performance vehicles.

Well it's quite a possibility. According to some trooper friends, they've been told that they may be getting some 2011's added to the fleet to replace some of their older models.

Hey, hasn't that sort of arrangement kept the Crown Vic' alive for so long? Why not for Camaro? Wouldn't that be some 'ish to see some SS headlights in the rear view while you're speeding only to then notice some red and blue strobe LEDs flashing at you?? EEKKKK!!!
