Hood flush or dipped a little beneath front body?

Not sure if my hoods messed up from my horrible recent experience bringing it in for service, but my hood now sits NOT flush but a little lower say 1/2" below the front body all along the side of the hood until it gets about half way up then it's flush again.. is everyone's like this or is mine messed up? Don't recall it ever being like this you can notice it and feel it. Hard to get a picture of it.. tried to mess with it but the locking mechanism is really that low so it's gotta hug it down there not sure what's up. Thanks.

1/2"? Is that hyperbole or is it really 1/2" off? That's a huge amount and not normal. Do you have a photo?

You can adjust that with the rubber stoppers in about 5 minutes in most cases if it's what I think you're describing...

+1 for what SS 1LE said.

I'd think you would have to have frame damage for it to not adjust out with the stops, being that the back is decently flush. Is there a visible crease or bend point in the hood?

To the smart asses asking for pics the pics don't do it any justice at all it doesn't get the angle right!! But thank you I didn't know the stoppers adjusted!! I guess just twist rotate them? I'll have to try that later and see if it works.

Don't get bent out of shape, it's just that a 1/2" is a lot in terms of hood alignment.

I adjusted mine after buying...flush now and tight enough that hood doesn't shake as much at speed.

Way to be a jackass to people just asking to see what yours looks like to compare it to ours...

1/2 inch is VERY large. So large that it would easily show up in a picture. If it's a half inch off and you jack the bumpers up to try and flush it up, you could cause damage to the aluminium hood.

1/2" is the latch being off.

I'm sure to some wives out there 1/2" would be a significant amount.

+1 Exactly.

OP comes on here and says that the hood is a half inch off...a half inch is HUGE. So either OP is exaggerating or has a serious problem. Either way, pictures would answer which it is...

Here's the pictures. Looks better at night than day time to see the difference but tried adjusting the bumpers (all 4 of them) which didn't fix the issue..

Simple answer.... Drive to dealer and look at others... Than see the service manager.
