Tract Control Switch Removal

i have searched and havent found anything, any special way to get it out? replacing mine in my 10 SS thats stuck

Have to take the shifter bezel off and then it just clips in and there is electrical plug i believe to unplug and plug in new one

Sounds like a electrical problem - old battery? Alternator not charging? These cars go crazy with low voltage.
