So how many got Pulled over?

Starting a thread on how many of us got pulled over and ticketed on their way there or going home, maybe even while being there.

Me I got 1 going home right before the border line!

I know an IOM got pulled over in our caravan on Thursday.

One of the Vegas people got pulled over on the way to dinner right in front of me, for some BS. (42 in a 45 lmao).

And there is a rumor about an arrest, Thursday evening.

I got pulled over by a border patrol officer before going back to Mexico (they ask if you have guns and ammo or over 10K in cash:facepalm:).

I told him about the camaro fest in PHX, he then told me that he has a 2011 mustang stock that runs 12.70s....

damn cops, lol

They let the IOM and white wheels go from what I heard. That's why I have a V1, and it was useful.

Yeah, I talked to him later. He was let go, but we were all traveling in a group. He could've pulled anyone over.

I also herd of the arizona cops giving out tickets to ppl with color halos

masterwinning 04-17-2011 10:04 PM

Well doesn't that just scream, "come on back, we'd love to have you guys again next year". I am not proposing to ignore the laws, but for colored halos and a few miles over or under the speed limit.

Cabrera 04-18-2011 01:55 AM

I got a freaking ticket.... 79 mph just 5 minutes before Blythe in Cali..

Icntdrv55 04-18-2011 08:57 AM

We had one on our group heading back to Co (Camaro Club Of the Rockies, CCOTR) just outside Phoenix. Motorcycle cop said he clocked him over 100MPH from an overpass. We through the BS flag on that. we were only going 85. Cop picked off the last one in the bunch, just like a lion pickining off the smallest Zebra! Cop was a real D!@&*. Said "tell your buddies this aint no race track and that he would have pulled us all over but then he would have to call his boss and its not worth the trouble". Did write him up for 85 in a 65 and said it was a madatory court appearance. Must have been a Ford owner. Story to continue........................

Now, when we were in NM and decided to "strectch our legs" well into the triple digets and a highway patrol was going the other way and clocked at least 5-7 of us well over XXX, he just kept driving. Must have been a chevy owner!

I was soooo sweating that last one. I know I was over XXX. Nothing like driving and looking in the rearview more then out the windshield for 20 miles. Lol

(I'm sorry for my actions and do not condone this behavior.)

I never realized it, but some states have laws that the cops have to be stationary to clock people. I found out working in PA, that is the case there. Maybe that was the same situation:iono:

Wow. Dodged a bullet on that one. I know the car will do it, but the risk is just too great for me. But individual choice is that, left to the individual. Glad you didnt get nabbed by 5-0.

Passed alot of cops on the way home, kept the cruise control on 80....
