2011 Camaro Inside Rearview Mirror Wiring

Ok guys, I need some help here. I have a radar detector, I bought a mount that attaches to the rearview mirror. Only trouble I'm having is the power cord hangs down and there is only one accessory plug in the Camaro, on the center console, right by the shifter.

Without even looking at the mirror first, I bought a short power cord that is made to plug into the power for the rearview mirror. Well, to make a long story short, there are no visible wires running to the back of the mirror. It has to be getting power somehow to run the auto dimmer, temp, OnStar, etc. So, my question is WHERE?

yes someone please post i have the same question also exactly how do you remove the overhead bezel, on my 2012 theres a black box i think is for the remote start next to the rear view mirror i would like mine ignition switch controled (hot when ignition on) pix would be great

there was another thread step by step but 2 years old and pics were not shown so it was very unhelpful

It just dawned on me, instead of the mirror wiring, what about the wiring up inside the overhead center console, where the dome light and programable remote buttons are? How do you remove that without breaking something?

Why did you not tell me what you wanted to do, there is a fast way, go 1-2" above the Rearview Mirror pull down on the black plastic its 2 haves and one slides in to the other, that is where the connector is for the mirror, then the black wire is ground and power on a 2010 and 2011 is the pink wire.
