that way people looking for work in the automotive world & those employers looking for people can find each other.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't think we're well-suited to such an operation...as an enthusiast website, it's not the first, or second, or I'd bet even third place an employer/employee would look for potential hires/positions....If a connection was forged, I expect it would be by "happenstance", which will occur with or without a special section.

Have you experimented with LinkedIn, or any other career-oriented social websites?

I would say that there are thousands of members on here who are either an employer or in a hiring position. It does not even need to to be "automotive" specific jobs. I think its a good idea and could work for many people.
