E-Break lever not snapping back?

I went to pick up my car from the detail shop, and when I tried to disengage the parking (emergency) break, it didn't snap back into place like normal, but seemed stuck-ish and loose. I pulled it up and down multiple times, until it seemed like normal again.

Drive home, parked it for a few hours, get it, and the same problem again. A few up and downs, and it's back to normal.

Now I am worried there is a problem with my break but I have no idea what

If there is anything wrong with your vehicle you should never feel afraid to have your dealer check it out. I hope it's not something major and you can get back to enjoying your vehicle soon. Let me know how things go or if you need any help.

Thanks, I'm reluctant to see my dealer because I have a number of modifications on my car. However, the issue seems to have subsided for now.
