When will we hear about the 2023 model year zl1?
 

Getting anxious if I should pull the trigger on a 22 or wait for 23, when will they stop still accepting 22 orders?

Anxious too talked to my dealer buddy and has absolutely no info on 2023’s as of yet
Was trying to convince me into buying a 2022 but from all the horror stories I’ve been hearing about the boys still waiting on there order builds think I’m stick with my 2020 but it would be nice to get the last year commemorative ZL1 if we could
Price range is also probably going to be ridiculous like the Shelby GT 500’s not including the markup

Currently have a 21 charger hellcat so no zl1 1le, im thinking of just placing an order with a refundable deposit and just seeing how it all plays out

is it bad that all i'm hoping for is just the same thing as the 2022 zl1 1le, with just faster turn around times

Subject to change. Word I got is 4/7/22 Year model 23 order books may open. First dealer consensus Approx. sometime around 4/28 for 23. Last orders taken for build for 22 4/1, Final DOSP 4/14/22. Year 22 build complete by 6/2. Now with that all said, who knows. GM could just cancel the whole thing and scrap the ICE for good. I'm not waiting.

I did the refundable deposit on a 2020 Shelby GT 500 that was marked up 10K from the MSRP
Once I took a spin in the ZL1 my mind was totally convinced best bang for your buck and got my deposit from the Shelby back no problems at all

Did ya get to place your order in on time for a 2022

Ordered 12/10, fingers crossed. If not, hope and prayer first in line 4/7/22 for a 23 if they make them.

I’m very eager to swap out my 2020 for the collection peice commemorative 2023 ZL1 especially if it comes with a higher hp rating and ZLE looks but I guess I’m just being hopeful so we’ll have to wait and see

This was on GM Authority a while back so it's all fluid during these times.....and only addresses 2 colors.....


Final dealer allocation week for Satin Steel is 3/31/22.
Last week of production is 5/9/22.
Wild Cherry is 3/3/22 and last week of production is 4/11/22.

2023 ordering guide isn't out yet. Until that becomes available, everything is just a bunch of rumors.

So if you ordered a 22 could they possibly not make it? i ordered one 1/15

I put in an order on 1/26. Haven't heard anything yet but I'm expecting it's going to take awhile. My sales guy says no worries. We'll see. Dealer is Les Stanford in Dearborn Michigan.

I have a 2022 Rapid Blue auto with 299 miles for sale.

Placed my order on 10/1/21 and still nothing. At this place I’ll probably just roll my order over to a 23 model and hope to see a car by the end of the year. I’m really not sure what GM is doing at this point because Ford and Dodge are cranking cars out like there’s no tomorrow.
